SFDA Organizes Workshop to Assist Entrepreneurs and New Businesses in Cosmetics Industry

Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) announced in a press release today that it hosted a workshop titled "Supporting Entrepreneurs and New Establishments in the Cosmetics Industry" at the SFDA Training and Conference Center in Riyadh.
According to the release, the authority aims to support entrepreneurs, officials of new establishments, and those interested in local investments in the cosmetics industry. This was achieved through various consultative sessions and multiple workshops conducted across different regions of the Kingdom.
The SFDA stated that the workshop aimed to equip entrepreneurs and interested individuals with the knowledge and skills required to navigate the regulatory landscape and successfully establish a cosmetics business in Saudi Arabia.
The workshop covered the latest market trends, the authority's role in ensuring product safety, and potential challenges that investors may face, all of which aim to boost their confidence in entering the market. It also featured training activities and informative presentations on the standard specifications and executive and technical regulations governing the manufacturing and marketing of cosmetics in the country, including 154 standard specifications.
SFDA officials and experts were on hand to address any questions or concerns related to the workshop topics. Participants also received training kits containing comprehensive information on cosmetics regulations.
The workshop highlights the authority's role in fostering a supportive environment for entrepreneurs in the cosmetics industry, providing them with the necessary resources to thrive in the Saudi market.
