2024-09-03

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), in collaboration with the Saudi Camel Federation, held a workshop for camel owners and enthusiasts today, titled "Feed and Veterinary Medicine Safety," on the sidelines of the 6th Crown Prince Camel Festival in Taif.
The workshop covered four main topics: feed safety, purchasing and trading practices, storage, and the safe use of veterinary products. The aim was to educate camel owners, trainers, specialists, and enthusiasts involved in the sport, enhancing their knowledge and cultural awareness.
It is worth noting that the workshop was part of the SFDA's initiatives in light of "The Year of the Camel," which the Council of Ministers has designated as the name for the current year, 2024. This initiative reflects the Kingdom's commitment to preserving its cultural heritage and rich legacy.
