SFDA Sized 7,869 kg of Expired Food in Food Factory and Two Warehouses in Jeddah

SFDA inspection teams seized 7,869 kilograms of expired food in food factory and two warehouses in Jeddah. Food items included pickles, cheeses, food coloring and flavors.
The inspectors have seized 6,900 kilograms of expired foodstuffs that has shown signs of spoilage in the first warehouse. The second one, SFDA inspectors found 310 kg of expired food, in addition to 659 kg of expired flavors and food coloring in food factory.
SFDA referred that the formal steps were taken against non-compliances.
