Standardization Organization for GCC organizes a workshop about Systems of Food Safety Management (ISO 22000) cooperating with the General Administration for Standards and Specifications in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in Sultanate of Oman and the Turkish Institute for Standards and Specifications during the
11th to 13th of August, 2007, in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Oman. The workshop is attended by a number of SFDA employees from food sector and it aims to set up safety practical applications during the processes of manufacturing, storing, preparing food and drinks. In addition, it is set according to specifications and provisions of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 2200). Industrial and commercial companies specialized in food field, sectors of (health, commerce, and industry), municipalities, customs, food laboratories specialists, employees of food and drinks sector and officials of checking the application of administrative regulations will participate in the workshop.
