In an Intranet Portal Poll of the SFDA: 68% Believe That Advertisements of Drugs and Food Products Deceive the Consumers

In a poll raised by the SFDA on its intranet portal about advertisements of drugs and food products, 68.35% voted that they do not trust such ads and consumers are deceived by them. However, 24.31% think that they are realistic to some extent, while 3.67% believe that they are quite realistic. The remaining 3.67% voted (I don’t know).
D. Abdulmuhsen Alruhaimy, the director of researches and publication department in the SFDA, commented that this poll considered a preliminary step to determine the consumer awareness, and the SFDA is about to make educational campaigns that will be announced soon.
