The Saudi Food & Drug Authority will participate in the e-Document Forum 2006, on the 10th & 11th of December 2006. The forum is organized for the 4th time by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh. It is considered to be the biggest event in the Middle East in the area of content and document management systems. The forum will be held this year after the great success achieved by the forum during previous years.

Dr. Saad bin Othman Al-Qasabi, General Manager of Information Technology will introduce the SFDA's experience in content management systems in a lecture titled; "Practical Experience in Content Management and Web Portals Solutions", in addition to a number of government and private sector officials.

The main topics of the forum are; storing electronic documents, archiving systems, workflow systems, records management, electronic portals, content management, knowledge management, storage systems and securing document management systems.

The forum will be held in conjunction with a specialized exhibition for sponsors, where the latest technologies and solution for; storing electronic documents, archiving systems, workflow systems, records management, electronic portals, content management, knowledge management, storage systems, securing document management systems and technologies related to the forum.
