The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting scientific submissions for the 5th Regulatory Research Day, scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2025, at SFDA headquarters in Riyadh.

Submitted research should focus on one of the following areas: human and veterinary medicines; herbal products; food and animal feed; pesticides; medical devices and supplies; and cosmetics.

The SFDA encourages researchers to submit scientific posters that contribute to assessing product safety, efficacy, and quality. These contributions will support the regulatory system in developing legislation and decisions, and help measure the effectiveness of regulatory actions and the extent to which their intended goals are achieved.

A set of conditions has been outlined for participation, including: participants must be affiliated with universities, research centers, or government and healthcare institutions; and all research must align with the themes of the Regulatory Research Day and adhere to the specified terms and conditions of participation.

By hosting the Regulatory Research Day, the SFDA aims to foster research and innovation and strengthen the regulatory system.
