SFDA Organizes a workshop about’ Pharmacovigilence’

Drug sector of Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) intends to organize a workshop entitled “Pharmacovigilence in Saudi Arabia: Roles and Requirements”, organized by Pharmacovigilence & Crisis Management Department. SFDA would like to invite all qualified persons responsible for Pharmacovigilence (QPPVs) and their representatives working in drug companies to participate in this workshop. The workshop will provide important information about the requirements of SFDA concerning Pharmacovigilence. This workshop will shed some light on the National Pharmacovigilence and Drug Safety Centre (NPC), roles and responsibilities of holders of marketing authorization and QPPVs. Additionally, methods of reporting adverse drug reaction and periodic safety update reports requirements will be discussed in this workshop.
