Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has decided to impose a temporary ban the import of poultry meat, table eggs, and their derivatives from the Wielkopolskie County, Republic of Poland.

SFDA exempted poultry meat, table eggs, and their products from the temporary ban, which were subjected to a heat treatment that is capable of eliminating the highly pathogenic avian influenza virus, provided that it conforms to the health requirements and controls and approved standard specifications. Moreover, attaching a health certificate issued by the official authorities accredited to the Republic of Poland proving that the product is free of the virus.
