His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, met with a number of owners and representatives of restaurants in the Saudi market.

During the meeting, they discussed facilitating the procedures for restaurants importing food, especially foods that do not have a specification or are rarely imported, emphasizing the importance of ensuring food safety.

They also discussed the proposals that contribute to supporting investment and increasing the level of quality, and the challenges and obstacles facing the private sector in general, in cooperation with the relevant government agencies.

The meeting comes as part of a series of meetings that the SFDA conducts with all categories of the nutrition sector and restaurants to enhance and support the level of services provided by the SFDA to its beneficiaries.
