Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) participated in the World Food Day, which falls on October 16 of each year.

The SFDA organized workshops, seminars and scientific lectures, and launched an awareness campaign on its social media platforms, coinciding with World Food Day.

The world celebrates on October 16 of each year the World Food Day, which was declared by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, as this day is widely celebrated by many international organizations concerned with food security, including the World Food Programme (WFP).
