SFDA CEO Meets with Industry Leaders and Company Representatives in Al Jouf Province

The CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, met on Wednesday at the Al Jouf Chamber of Commerce with various company leaders and representatives from the food, drug, and medical device sectors. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Al Jouf Chamber, Dr. Hamdan bin Abdullah Al-Semreen.

The discussions focused on the primary challenges facing companies in the region, potential opportunities for growth and expansion, and strategies to strengthen compliance with SFDA regulations. These collaborative efforts aim to stimulate investment while simultaneously enhancing consumer safety.

Dr. Aljadhey emphasized that the Authority remains committed to supporting and empowering the private sector, without compromising its core mandate of protecting public health and ensuring product safety. He stressed that strict adherence to quality standards is essential for achieving sustainable growth and national safety. He further noted that ongoing partnerships and open communication with the private sector are vital to improving the investment climate and advancing the Kingdom’s strategic objectives in food and drug security.

These meetings are held regularly as part of the SFDA’s broader strategy to enhance engagement with the private sector and to incorporate stakeholder feedback into the Authority's continuous improvement of quality and operational efficiency.
