A delegation of Environment and Health Affairs Committee that belongs to Majlis Ash-shura has visited the SFDA on Tuesday, 10-3-1429H, headed by the committee president Dr. Mohsen bin Ali Alhazmi. The delegation has been received by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Alkanhal, the Acting Executive President of the SFDA, sectors presidents and general directors in the SFDA. During the visit, an explanatory show about the SFDA plans and strategic goals has been illustrated.
The sectors reviewed their strategic plans, most important accomplishments as well as future projects. Moreover, a summary of accomplishments belong to Information Technology Department as well as Projects and Maintenance Departments has been offered. After that, all inquiries and interjections from the delegation have been answered, then His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Alkanhal and the SFDA staff accompanied the delegation in a round inside the SFDA headquarter to view some information centers like:

- Poison and Drug Information Centre
- Pharmacovigilance Centre
- Center of Medical Devices Problem Reporting
- Medical Devices National Registry

At the end of the round, the president of Environment and Health Affairs Committee and members of delegation expressed their admiration and delight towards obvious work methodology and strategy of the SFDA and praised the SFDA accomplishments hoping to it and its staff success and
prosperity.
