إنطلاقاً من جهود الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء ممثلة بالمركز الوطني لبلاغات الأجهزة والمنتجات الطبية في قطاع الأجهزة والمنتجات الطبية وذلك من خلال مراقبتها لجودة وسلامة الأجهزة والمنتجات الطبية المسوقة في المملكة العربية السعودية ، فقد قامت الهيئة بالتنبيه بخصوص طريقة استخدام أشرطة قياس نسبة السكر من صنف (One Touch Sure Step) رقم الصنف : ٢٩٨٣٧٨٠٠١١ ، رقم القطعة : ٠٢٠٣٣٨٠٢ ، حيث تلقى المركز الوطني من شركة LifeScan إستدعاء بخصوص هذة الأشرطة .

إنطلاقاً من جهود الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء ممثلة ممثلة بإدارة الرقابة والقياسات الحيوية بقطاع الأجهزة والمنتجات الطبية ، وبعد الرجوع إلى مصادرها في الهيئات الرقابية العالمية ،أن تحذرالجراحين والممرضين العاملين بغرف العمليات وجميع الطاقم المساند في غرف العمليات بالقطاع الصحي من استخدام البخاخات التي تعمل بالهواء أو الغاز المضغوط لخلط واستعمال أدوية تخثر الدم أو المنتجات البيولوجية ( المنتجات التي تساعد على السيطرة على النزيف من الأوعية الدموية اثناء الجراحة) بما في ذلك السدادات الليفينية وغير الليفينية.
