His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, visited the SFDA office at Al-Batha land port today to inspect the progress of work, review the most prominent achievements and existing projects, and discuss challenges and difficulties.

During the visit, Dr. Aljahdey met with Director General of Customs at Al-Batha Port, Mohammed Ali Al-Qaisi.

International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has recently published the international standard on safety controls for cupping devices "hijamah tools" (ISO 5227). This is the first international standard developed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a national standard to be an international standard as per ISO regulations.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) was granted the Prism Award in the Middle East after winning first place for the best organization applying coaching practices in enhancing and improving leadership skills in human resources, presented by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

ICF announced the winner during a ceremony held in Muscat, Oman, on Thursday, September 29, 2022, to distribute the prizes.
