The agricultural committee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh organizes the fifth meeting of agricultural marketing entitled (Globalism), on Tuesday the 28th of Rabee Athanee under the auspices of d. Fahad bin Abdurrahman Balgunaim the minister of agriculture.
The meeting aims to upgrade the efficiency of agricultural marketing in the Kingdom by enhancing the role of contracts regulations in marketing, recognizing their features and forms, raising people awareness about the importance of improving agricultural products quality, applying Saudi standard specifications and examining the readiness of agricultural markets to meet modern marketing roles.
The meeting includes four basic elements, they are: contracts (their importance, features and forms), agricultural markets (prices conversion and their reasons), central markets of fruits and vegetables and their readiness, specifications and globalism (regulations and legislations).
The agricultural committee of Riyadh Chamber invited relative authorities as: ministries, governmental establishments, centers of agricultural researches, universities, cooperative societies, agricultural companies and establishments, businessmen, farmers and mass media.
Three sessions will be held during the meeting, they are: 1.the importance of agricultural marketing framework in contracts success; and it discusses the contracts of poultry sector and hyper market contracts. 2. the reality, difficulties and solutions of agricultural markets; that discusses marketing green houses products and examines a successful agricultural market specimen. 3. the specifications and standards of agricultural markets; which will deals with the role of the S.F.D.A in agricultural markets.
After that, an open discussion will be held about the difficulties of marketing agricultural production adequately locally and abroad. It worth mentioning that at the end of the sessions recommendations will be determined and general discussion will be opened.
