Within the efforts of the SFDA to monitor all products that are included under its responsibilities, it has withdrawn some samples of blueberry drink marketed by peddlers as healthy natural juice without any additives.

The SFDA warns against using a coffee product named "Iranian Coffee with Saffron", in glass bottles inside boxes weigh 130 gram, produced in Aseel Alkaif Factory in Riyadh, after results of tested samples shown the existence of the artificial color (Orange 2) which is a banned additive in food.

On 20/05/2010G, corresponding to 6/6/1431AH, NESTLE has announced voluntary recall of a number of instant –coffee products from the international markets. The recall only included the following NESCAFE products:
- Alta Rica
- Alta Rica Decaff
- Cap Colombie
- Espresso
- Suraya

ضمن جهود الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء ممثله في قطاع الغذاء وانطلاقاً من دورها في التوعية الغذائية السليمة أوضحت الهيئة أن التحمير الزائد للأغذية يدل على ضررها وعدم مأمونيتها, وليس دليلا على اكتمال استوائها، ونبهت الهيئة في بيان تحذيري الى أن فوائض أطعمة مائدتي السحور والإفطار عرضة للتلوث الغذائي.
ودعت الهيئة إلى التخلص من فائض الأطعمة التي تم لمسها بالأيدي لأنها غالباً ما تكون عرضة للتلوث الغذائي أما الأغذية والوجبات الجاهزة للأكل والتي لم تلمس باليد ينصح بتقسيمها ووضعها في أوانٍ صغيرة غير عميقة وتغطيتها باحكام ثم تبريدها مباشرة.
