The event took place at the SFDA headquarters in Riyadh and was attended by the Chief Executive Officer, H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, along with several officials. This initiative aligns with SFDA's strategic plan to foster a research-driven, innovative, and robust regulatory environment, establishing itself as a preeminent global authority dedicated to promoting and protecting public health through scientific principles.

H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), launched an initiative today, Wednesday, aimed at developing diagnostic laboratory equipment and advancing 3D printing in hospitals. The launch was made at the SFDA’s pavilion participating in the Global Health Exhibition 2024 in Riyadh, which concludes today.

The Saudi Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel, launched a licensing initiative today for medical software in digital health. This initiative facilitates the use of software for diagnosis, treatment, and medical decision-making. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the Global Health Exhibition 2024 in Riyadh, which will be held from October 21 to 23, 2024.

CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, during his visit to New Delhi for the 19th Annual Meeting of the International Conference of Drug Regulatory Authorities, has met with Indian Minister of Industry and Commerce Shri Piyush Goyal.
The meeting focused on exploring avenues for enhancing cooperation in the areas of food, medicine, medical devices, and supplies. Both parties discussed potential collaboration between Indian companies specializing in these fields and the SFDA.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) is holding awareness pavilions focused on food, medicine, and medical devices for pilgrims at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah. These pavilions will remain open until 8 Dhu al-Hijjah as part of the SFDA's activities in the Hajj season of 1445 AH.

Aljadhey, met today in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, with H.E. the Malaysian Minister of Religious Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Naim bin Mukhtar, and the Director of the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), Dr. Hakima Yusuf, to discuss supporting and promoting the halal industry.
