His Excellency the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, met today with the CEOs of food, drug, device and medical supplies companies in Asir region, at the headquarters of the Abha Chamber.

H.E. Dr. Aljadhey thanked the Chamber for organizing the meeting, stressing the Authority's keenness to communicate with the private sector in all regions, to enhance the level of services provided and support investment.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) participate with an introductory pavilion in LEAP 2023, which will be held in the capital, Riyadh, under the title "Into New Worlds", between 6 to 9 February 2023 at the Riyadh Front Center for Exhibitions and Conventions.

The two-day summit is being held in its second edition, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

​The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has obtained a certificate of accreditation in the field of inspection of food facilities, drugs and medical devices, in addition to renewing the accreditation for the fifth year in a row in inspection of food facilities in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17020:2012. This standard is considered the basic standard for international accreditation bodies and the international standard recognized around the world in the field of inspection.
