اطلع وزير الزراعة الدكتور فهد بالغنيم والوفد المرافق له أمس على التقنيات الحديثة التي تنتهجها الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء في الحفاظ على سلامة الغذاء ومأمونية وفعالية الدواء والأجهزة الطبية.
وتجول بالغنيم يرافقه الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء الدكتور محمد بن احمد الكنهل ورؤساء القطاعات ومدراء العموم بالهيئة في قطاعات الغذاء والدواء , فيما اطلع على قطاع الأجهزة والمنتجات الطبية.
واستعرضت "الغذاء والدواء" الانجازات التي حققتها خلال السنوات الماضية لإحكام الرقابة على الدواء والغذاء.

رغبة من الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء في مشاركة الجهات ذات العلاقة من القطاعات الحكومية والأهلية والمهتمين في إبداء مرئياتهم حيال مشروع نظام الأعلاف الذي أعدته الهيئة، فقد تقرر عقد حلقة نقاش تتضمن عرض لأبرز عناصر النظام، وذلك يوم الأحد (26) ربيع الثاني 1431هـ الموافق (11) أبريل 2010م ، من الساعة التاسعة صباحاً إلى الساعة الثانية عشرة ظهراً ، في فندق مداريم كراون بمدينة الرياض (طريق مطار الملك خالد الدولي)، و سوف يدير حلقة النقاش نائب الرئيس لشؤون الغذاء الدكتور/ إبراهيم بن سعد المهيزع و بمشاركة كل من: مستشار قطاع الغذاء الدكتور/ زهير بن شروز ملا و مدير الإدارة القانون

The Chamber of Commerce - East Region- hosted on Tuesday 21/4/1431H, H.E Dr. Mohammad bin Ahmad Al Kanhal , the chief executive officer, president of Saudi Food & Drug Authority in its "Tuesday" monthly meeting.

SFDA participated in the 8th. National Intellectual Dialogue Forum, launched on Thursday evening 23/4/1431H, in Najran, which lasted for three days.

SFDA was represented in this forum by Dr. Mohammad bin Ahmad Al Kanhal , the chief executive officer, president of Saudi Food & Drug Authority who addressed the forum during its 2nd. day activities and introduced SFDA and its role in serving this country in the field of safety and quality control of food, drug and medical devices & products.

في إطار الخطة الاستراتيجية للهيئة المتضمنة بناء منظومة تشريعات (أنظمة ولوائح فنية) تمكنها من القيام بمهامها الرقابية ، فقد عقدت الهيئة ورشة عمل لمناقشة مسودة نظام الاعلاف التي تعدها الهيئة تمهيداً لرفعها للجهات المختصة لإقرارها وكما هو معلوم فإن الهيئة فرغت للتو من اعداد مسودة نظام الغذاء وتم رفعها للجهات المختصة لمراجعته تمهيداً لإقرارها من الجهات العليا.

The activities of the 4th. Medical Devices Scientific Forum , sponsored by SFDA and some Scientific Societies, was launched last Monday 27 Rabi II, corresponding to 12 April 2010 in synchronization with the Launch of the Saudi Medical Care Exhibition 2010. His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al Rabiya'h, Health Minister visited SFDA stand accompanied by His Excellency SFDA President. During the visit, his Excellency viewed some of the works performed by the Medical Devices & Products Sector of the Saudi Food & Drug Authority.

On Behalf of HRH Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense & Aviation, Inspector General and Chairman of SFDA Board of Directors, HRH Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior and deputy Chairman of SFDA Board of Directors chaired yesterday, in Riyadh the 9th. SFDA’s Board of Directors Meeting in the presence of their Royal Highness and Excellency members of SFDA Board.

H.E SFDA Vice President for Medical Devices & Products, Dr. Saleh Al Tayar visited Japan to hold a workshop on KSA Medical Devices & Products Control Regulations attended by medical devices and products firms and manufacturers in Japan.

SFDA Drug Sector held a press conference at its premises this afternoon,, about Cosmetic Products Regulations. The Conference was chaired by H.E Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah Ba Wazeer, V.P for Drug Sector, in the presence of HE Saleh bin Oudah Al Attawi, Legal Advisor and Director of Legal Department and H.E Dr. Hajed bin Hashan, Director of Medical Licenses and H.E General Supervisor of Public Relations Department Mr. Mazin bin Musa Al Ismail and H.E Pharmacist, Mohammad Al Jalal, Director of Cosmetics Department of Drug Sector.
