The Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA) announced that the abstract submission for Research Day 2024 is still open. The event will take place on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the SFDA headquarters.

Abstracts should align with the SFDA Research Day 2024 theme and cover topics related to human drugs, veterinary drugs, herbal products, food, feed, pesticides, medical devices and supplies, cosmetics, and tobacco.

The delegation of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority(SFDA) headed by His Excellency the CEO, Dr. Hisham bin Saad Aljadhey, visited Today, Thursday, Backweston Laboratory concerned with analytical chemistry, and Devenish Group specialized in developing sustainable food solutions based on science for the food and feed industries. This was on the sidelines of the delegation’s official visit to the Republic of Ireland to attend the 4th Meeting of International Heads of Food Agencies Forum (IHFAF).

A delegation from the Patent Office of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States has visited the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and the National Drug and Cosmetics Control Laboratory in Riyadh.
