Within the efforts of the SFDA to monitor all products that are included under its responsibilities, it has withdrawn some samples of blueberry drink marketed by peddlers as healthy natural juice without any additives. Laboratory analysis revealed the existence of some artificial colors and the product is just a blueberry drink that contains some allowed artificial colors; which considered a kind of cheating, beside that the condition of producing, packaging and marketing products sold by peddlers, as blueberry and sobia, lack the important healthy needs which may expose consumers to risk.
