SFDA Organized a Blood Donation Campaign, in cooperation with King Fahad Medical City Blood Bank for one week starting (19/7/1433), coinciding with the International Blood Donation Day.

The mobile blood donation unit included professional blood donation team and a fully equipped truck prepared for this purpose and placed in front of SFDA Head Office. SFDA is keen to organize such initiatives in contribution to supply the local blood banks with their needs and to encourage and strengthen the spirit of donation and volunteering to serve our community and to emphasize blood donation culture

It worth mentioning that the International Blood Donation Day was launched in 2004, in Johannesburg, capital of South Africa, under the auspice of the World Health Organization and since then became an international event that all countries and international organization are keen to contribute to with the purpose of supplying blood banks with their needs for blood.
