SFDA Sized 7,869 kg of Expired Food in Food Factory and Two Warehouses in Jeddah

Saudi Food and Drug Authority has taken the appropriate actions to control the levels of salt in the bread. The Saudi Technical Regulation No. SFDA.FD 2362/2018 "Technical Requirements for Bread Production" has been adopted, which sets the maximum levels of salt in the bread, so that no more than (1/ 100 g) of finished product.
Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), in cooperation with Saudi Professional League, has launched a campaign to raise consumer awareness about calories calculation and the risks of high consumption of calories, as well as the role of physical activities in burning calories.
