Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has decided to lift the temporary ban imposed on the import of poultry meat, table eggs, and their derivatives from the Russian provinces Kostroma Oblast, Penza Oblast and Rostov Oblast.

SFDA stated that it carried out 2,445 inspection tours to food facilities, 280 to pesticides and feed facilities, and 1,535 to pharmaceutical facilities and medical devices, in addition to routine visits and smart inspections.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has extended the period for submitting requests for compliance forms for food transportation means for facilities under its control, in order to facilitate the process of examining food transportation through entry points in Makkah.
