The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has lifted the temporary ban imposed on the import of poultry and its fresh, chilled and frozen products from the Kingdom of Thailand, and kept the temporary ban on eggs and their products continuing.
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), at its headquarters in Riyadh, will host the activities of the 7th "Gulf Food Week" during the period from March 27 to March 31, 2022, in cooperation and coordination with GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) and Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).

The Regional Coordinator for the Near East Countries in Codex Alimentarius Commission (CODEX), Khaled Al-Zahrani, reviewed the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) experience in leading the region to enhance the participation of its countries at the level of Codex Alimentarius Commission (Codex).
