The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), in collaboration with the Riyadh Chamber, hosted a workshop titled "Standard Specifications for Medical Devices and Supplies" on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. The event was attended by approximately 50 representatives from local manufacturing companies.

In the Chinese capital, Beijing, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, Friday, with China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) to exchange experiences and regulatory information.

The MoU was signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the SFDA, H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, and the Commissioner of the NMPA, H.E. Mr. Li Li, at the NMPA headquarters, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to China.
