تستعد الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء لإطلاق بوابتها الداخلية حيث يجري حالياً إجراء التجارب النهائية للبوابة وعمل دورات تدريبية قصيرة للعاملين على تحديث البوابة من كافة القطاعات.
و تنقسم البوابة الى 6 اقسام وهي قسم خاص لمكتب الرئيس وقسم لقطاع الغذاء وآخر لقطاع الدواء وقسم رابع لقطاع الاجهزة الطبية اما القسم الخامس فهو يخص الشؤون المالية والإدارية واخيراً قسم تقنية المعلومات.
وذلك بالاضافة الى عدة اقسام مشتركة بين جميع الاقسام تتمثل في نظام شؤون الموظفين و دليل الموظفين ونظام الاتصالات الادارية.

The Saudi Food & Drug Authority will participate in the e-Document Forum 2006, on the 10th & 11th of December 2006. The forum is organized for the 4th time by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh. It is considered to be the biggest event in the Middle East in the area of content and document management systems. The forum will be held this year after the great success achieved by the forum during previous years.

His Excellency Dr. Hamad AlManei, Minister of Health will sponsor the 4th Saudi Conference on Food and Nutrition next Sunday, which will be held on the 10th and 11th of December 2006 and takes place at King Fahd's Cultural Center in Riyadh under the theme "The Future of Food and Nutrition in Light of New Advancements". The conference is organized by the Saudi Food and Nutrition Society and invitations to specialists and professionals in the food and nutrition fields have been sent.

His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Fahd, the Prince of the Tabouk and Honorary President of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society, will host the 7th International Saudi Pharmaceutical Conference organized the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society during the 19-21 of March 2007.

The e-Document Forum wrapped up its activities yesterday, under the sponsorship of Dr. Abdulrahman AlAthl, President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) which was organized by KACST. The forum lasted for two days, between the 10th and 11th of December, 2006. Many lectures were given during the forum that evolved around electronic document management, content management and the importance of content management. A number of Government sectors presented their trials in content management and e-document management.

تستطلع الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء آراء زوارها حول القضايا المهمة التي تتعلق بعمل الهيئة ومجالات اهتمامها وذلك من خلال طرح قضية للاستفتاء على البوابة الالكترونية للهيئة بشكل دوري حيث يتم أخذ آراء زوار البوابة حول القضايا المتعلقة بالمواطن من غذاء ودواء وأجهزة طبية وفيما يلي نورد الاستطلاعات التي أجريت على بوابة الهيئة الالكترونية :

انطلاقاً من سعى الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء إلى الاستفادة من الخبراء والمستشارين في مجالات الغذاء والدواء والأجهزة الطبية فقد أضافت الهيئة على بوابتها الالكترونية نموذج لتسجيل الخبراء والمستشارين. تسعى الهيئة من خلاله إلى إنشاء قاعدة بيانات تضم ابرز المعلومات والبيانات عنهم، مستفيدة من الانترنت في هذا الشأن للوصول إلى اكبر عدد ممكن من الخبراء والمستشارين سواء من داخل المملكة أو من خارجها، بالإضافة إلى اهتمام الهيئة باستثمار التقنيات الحديثة لتقديم خدمات متميزة للمستفيدين منها.

نظمت الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء متمثلة في قطاع الغذاء محاضرتين حول سلامة الأغذية والتي قام بإلقائها نائب مدير عام إدارة سلامة الأغذية بالمجر د. أرباد أمبروسن وذلك أثناء المهمة الاستشارية التي قام بها لقطاع الغذاء بالهيئة، وكانت المحاضرة الأولى بعنوان "مفردات الإنتاج النباتي التي تؤثر على سلامة الغذاء والعلف" وتطرق فيها إلى سلسلة إنتاج الغذاء ملقياً بذلك نظرة عامة عليه بالإضافة إلى خطوات الإنتاج النباتي و وقاية النبات كما تحدث د. أرباد عن الحاجة للرقابة الفعالة (التحكم الفعال) على مدى الالتزام باشتراطات المبيدات واستخداماتها والحدود القصوى المصرح بها لمركباتها.

The SFDA uncovered the forming of a team named "Drug Pricing", which includes representatives from the Ministry of Health, Department of Medical Services at the National Guard, Ministry of Health Department of Health Services, National Guard Health Affairs, King Saud University College of Pharmacy and specialists in drug economics.
