The SFDA Warns against a Local Coffee Product Contains a Banned Coloring

The SFDA warns against using a coffee product named "Iranian Coffee with Saffron", in glass bottles inside boxes weigh 130 gram, produced in Aseel Alkaif Factory in Riyadh, after results of tested samples shown the existence of the artificial color (Orange 2) which is a banned additive in food.
The SFDA advices consumers not to use this product and to throw it away. The date of production of the product is 6-2009, while the date of expiry is 6-2011 and it does not carry a function number. In addition, the glass bottles of the product do not contain clarification labels which considered another breach. Coordination with relative authorities has been arranged to withdraw this product from markets and stop marketing it.
