The Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, met on Monday with Mr. Wang Bing, the Director of the Shenzhen Institute for Drug Control (SZIDC), at the SZIDC headquarters in Shenzhen, China.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation through joint research projects, knowledge sharing, and best practices.

Aljadhey, was briefed yesterday, Saturday, on advanced manufacturing technologies for biological and genetic medicines at a specialized factory in Tianjin, China. These techniques are considered modern innovations in the medical field, aimed at providing treatments for many incurable diseases.

Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to China; Mr. Wang Maochun, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products (CCCMHPIE); and Ms. Li Xiangying, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended the meeting.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, led the SFDA delegation on an official visit to the People's Republic of China to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and to participate in the 8th Shenzhen Food Safety Forum.

Dr. Aljadhey visited several counterpart authorities today, accompanied by H.E. Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to China.

H.E. Dr. Hisham S. The MoU aims to foster cooperation and facilitate the exchange of experiences and knowledge.

The Chief Executive Officer of the SFDA, H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, signed the MoU alongside the Director General of SPSC, Dr. Ali bin Tala Asery.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) and King Abdulaziz University (KAU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today to enhance joint capabilities between the two sides. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the Global Health Exhibition 2024 in Riyadh, which will be held from October 21 to 23, 2024.

CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, during his visit to New Delhi for the 19th Annual Meeting of the International Conference of Drug Regulatory Authorities, has met with Indian Minister of Industry and Commerce Shri Piyush Goyal.
The meeting focused on exploring avenues for enhancing cooperation in the areas of food, medicine, medical devices, and supplies. Both parties discussed potential collaboration between Indian companies specializing in these fields and the SFDA.
