The Italian Ambassador to the Kingdom Visits SFDA and Meets the Chief Executive Officer

His Excellency SFDA President, Dr, Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almishal, emphasized the importance of the National Transformation Program approved by the Council of Minister Resolution in its session held yesterday chaired by The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, as one of the “Kingdom’s Vision 2030” Programs, presented by the council of the Economic & Development Affairs, Chaired by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Crown Prince, Second deputy Premier, Minister of Defense,
HE The Chief Executive Officer of SFDA, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almishal, established an office named” implementation and follow-u of the " Kingdom’s Vision 2030 " goals related to SFDA mandate and functions. The Office shall take the necessary action to communicate with the Economic Affairs and Development Council to achieve the “Kingdom’s vision."
His Excellency the delegated Minister, Head of Japanese Mission in Japan Embassy, Mr. Sitsu Omori, accompanied by the first secretary of economics and trade, visited FDA and met with H.E. the Chief Executive Officer of SFDA Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almishal.
The two parties discussed exchange of information of Import Regulations and reviewed the safety condition of food products and cosmetics prepared for export.
Czech ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Yeri Slavik , visited SFDA and met with His Excellency the Chief Executive Officer , Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almishal.
H.E. Professor Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Almishal, Head of SFDA revealed SFDA Strategy to keep pace with the “Kingdom’s Vision 2030” approved by the Council of Ministers- Chaired by The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz- last Monday. He stressed on the importance of excreting more efforts by all SFDA staff and employees, change their way f thinking and performance completely so that SFDA will keep pace with the “Vision” aspiration.
SFDA, launched the first campaign to introduce its electronic systems and laws, in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah, and the campaign was started in the headquarters of Saudi Chambers Council in Riyadh, for three days.
The Campaign targeting SFDA beneficiaries in the three sectors (food - medicine - medical devices and products).
SFDA head, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Meshal that SFDA is working to support the private sector by creating flexible and easy systems for drugs and medical devices registration to stimulate investment in this field.
